Beverly's Birthdays North Huntingdon, PA

In March of 2011, Beverly's Birthdays founder, Megs Yunn, met a young girl, Beverly, who shared with Ms. Megs that she had never had her own birthday party or even her own slice of birthday cake. Inspired by Beverly's story, Megs decided to start an organization that provides birthday celebrations for homeless children in the Pittsburgh Region.

Texas Baptist Children's Home Round Rock, TX

ELHP Helps had multiple projects this year: We donated car seats for infants and toddlers and Target gift cards for back to school items for the children. Also, we provided four families with back to school clothing that they modeled in their annual fashion show. Finally, we purchased and set up an apartment with new cooking and kitchenware, bedding and bath supplies for a needy single-mother family.

Hi Barb and Tom,

Thank you so much for the wonderful visit this last Friday. Your granddaughter is precious and we enjoyed chatting with you both. We also really appreciate the car seats (which I’ve already sent out an email to staff seeing who has a client who might need one), and we also are grateful for the gift cards. Those will be used in a variety of ways – school needs, new clients in need for food/clothing/etc, and birthday gift cards.

Thanks again for all you have done for us!
